The project independence team is made up of students from all over the country excited to take the adventure of a lifetime. Running independently of school, you’ll get all the benefits of the training, support and safety of a World Challenge experience with a ready-made team of like-minded young travellers who you’ll get to know in the build up to the trip ahead. Each year, we hand select a list of the very best destinations and have (limited) spots available for those brave young souls ready to take up the challenge. All that’s left to do is choose your destination, sign up and put the dates in your diary.

The magic of Vietnam is everywhere you go, from floating markets and lantern-lit streets to glistening rice paddies and legendary limestone islands. With a 2,000-mile-long coastline and a history as rich as its landscapes, this long, thin country is beckoning to be explored.
On this school expedition, navigate bustling cities and discover Buddhist shrines, colonial relics, and imperial ruins. Pull up a stool at a street stall and slurp a steaming bowl of pho noodle soup. Head north to trek through misty mountains and connect with ethnic hill tribes who will share their unique traditions and way of life. Venture further south into steamy jungles, relax on sandy beaches, and experience the vibrant rhythm of life along the Mekong Delta.
