Take some time to rest after your journey because an unforgettable adventure awaits. You’re about to wander through the rich tapestry of history and culture you’ve always dreamed about. Majestic mosques, ancient bazaars, and the shimmering waters of the Bosphorus, they’re all here ready to be discovered.
Days 2-3Discover The City
Istanbul
Dive into expedition life, allocate some group roles and meet the ground team to discuss your plans. You’ll also need to buy a SIM card for the team phone and get to grips with the local currency, the Turkish Lira. Spend your first two days soaking in Istanbul’s rich history and vibrant culture. Embark on a guided tour of iconic landmarks like the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and the sprawling Grand Bazaar. Marvel at the grandeur of the Suleymaniye Mosque before heading to the lively Spice Market, where the aroma of exotic spices fills the air. Treat yourself to a street food tour, savouring delights like simit, köfte, and baklava. Enjoy the next full day at your own pace. Visit the picturesque Ortaköy neighborhood along the Bosphorus or stroll through the serene grounds of Gulhane Park, a lush escape from the city’s bustle.
Day 4Visit Gallipoli

Days 7-8Coastal Trek

Days 10-12Turtle Conservation

Spend the next couple of days in Belek immersed in a vital conservation effort, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Turkey’s Mediterranean coastline. Work alongside the local community to protect nesting sea turtles, whose survival is critical to the region’s biodiversity. As night falls, take to the beach to track female turtles as they come ashore to lay their eggs. Observe and monitor the nesting process, assisting with placing protective cages around nests to safeguard them from potential threats. This hands-on experience provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the preservation of endangered sea turtle populations while learning about their incredible life cycles. Under the starlit sky, you’ll witness nature’s resilience firsthand, forging deep connections with the environment and the team. Day 13Chill In Belek
Belek
Spend your last day in Belek soaking up its charm. Wander through a bustling local market, discovering unique crafts and flavours. Take a leisurely stroll along the golden beach, savouring the sea breeze and stunning views. Or, shop for souvenirs to remember your time here.
Day 14Travel Home From Antalya
Antalya
All too soon, it’s time to travel home. Cram everything into your backpack one last time, and head to the airport. When the aeroplane takes off, look down on the coasts you have explored, the people you met and the mountains you conquered. These experiences will shape who you are and change the way you see the world from now on. Prepare to return home forever changed.
