Project Independence
Independent trips for those brave enough to take the road less travelled with a group of like-minded friends.
The project independence team is made up of students from all over the country excited to take the adventure of a lifetime. Running independently of school, you’ll get all the benefits of the training, support and safety of a World Challenge experience with a ready-made team of like-minded young travellers who you’ll get to know in the build up to the trip ahead. Each year, we hand select a list of the very best destinations and have (limited) spots available for those brave young souls ready to take up the challenge. All that’s left to do is choose your destination, sign up and put the dates in your diary.
Your school trip to Slovenia awaits
Touch down in one of the greenest countries on Earth. A land of non-stop adventure, more than half of Slovenia is covered in forest, and most of it is studded with Alpine mountains or rolling hills. Beneath these peaks, there are emerald lakes, magical caves and a small but spectacular stretch of coast.
Embrace everything this little country has to offer, from icy summits and rushing rivers to gothic architecture and Europe’s smallest capital. Gather your team to explore medieval cobbled streets, set foot in fairytale castles and fuel-up on local sausages, fresh cream cakes and delicious Slovenian dumplings.
