The project independence team is made up of students from all over the country excited to take the adventure of a lifetime. Running independently of school, you’ll get all the benefits of the training, support and safety of a World Challenge experience with a ready-made team of like-minded young travellers who you’ll get to know in the build up to the trip ahead. Each year, we hand select a list of the very best destinations and have (limited) spots available for those brave young souls ready to take up the challenge. All that’s left to do is choose your destination, sign up and put the dates in your diary.
Your school trip to eSwatini & Kruger awaits
Dive in for a double African adventure in eSwatini and Kruger National Park. The compact kingdom of eSwatini is tucked between South Africa and Mozambique. Way off the tourist radar, it’s a land of wild mountains, tribal culture and the last reigning monarch in Africa.
Leap outside your bubble and experience a place where traditional crafts and tribal dancing are a genuine part of daily life, and where wild mountains and teeming jungles are the last habitats of their kind. Travel a few hours north to South Africa and you’re in Kruger, where the plains are roamed by elephants, hyenas and lions on the hunt.
