Project Independence
Independent trips for those brave enough to take the road less travelled with a group of like-minded friends.
The project independence team is made up of students from all over the country excited to take the adventure of a lifetime. Running independently of school, you’ll get all the benefits of the training, support and safety of a World Challenge experience with a ready-made team of like-minded young travellers who you’ll get to know in the build up to the trip ahead. Each year, we hand select a list of the very best destinations and have (limited) spots available for those brave young souls ready to take up the challenge. All that’s left to do is choose your destination, sign up and put the dates in your diary.
Your school trip to Morocco awaits
Dive into a North African adventure like no other, where waves dance across the coastline, camels roam the desert and winding tracks lead high into the stunning Atlas Mountains. This is where Africa, Europe and the Middle East collide, creating a magical melting pot of cultures and traditions.
Step outside your comfort zone and submerge yourself in Berber culture. Lift the lid on tasty tagines, dip your flatbread in argan oil and pour some mint tea the Moroccan way. You’ll need to work as a team to navigate the maze-like medinas, then it’s over to you to count out your dirhams and haggle for leatherware in the souks.
Remember, you’re walking the path towards true global citizenship. Tap into your inner potential, step forward to contribute and absorb everything this trip can teach you about the world and your place within it.
