Project Independence
Independent trips for those brave enough to take the road less travelled with a group of like-minded friends.
The project independence team is made up of students from all over the country excited to take the adventure of a lifetime. Running independently of school, you’ll get all the benefits of the training, support and safety of a World Challenge experience with a ready-made team of like-minded young travellers who you’ll get to know in the build up to the trip ahead. Each year, we hand select a list of the very best destinations and have (limited) spots available for those brave young souls ready to take up the challenge. All that’s left to do is choose your destination, sign up and put the dates in your diary.

With its crystal-clear waters, emerald forests, and karst peaks, Croatia is the ultimate destination for outdoor adventure. Sitting on the fringe of Southeast Europe, it’s also a land of ancient architecture and mouth-watering fish stews. This overseas school trip invites you to explore Croatia’s diverse landscapes and rich cultural heritage.
Along the Adriatic coastline, paddle past dramatic cliffs to reach untouched islands, or kick back on sparkling beaches. Head inland to climb rugged mountains, explore hidden caves, and raft down wild rivers. Keep your eyes peeled for deer, bears, and golden eagles as you trek through the wilderness.
