Your school trip to South Africa awaits
Jagged mountains, surf-washed beaches, fascinating cities and traditional villages – welcome to one of the most exciting countries on the planet. Here at the southern tip of Africa, the warm Indian Ocean licks along the east coast while the cold Atlantic Ocean laps the west.
To understand this multi-ethnic country, you need to explore its past – listen to ancient tribal stories, learn about apartheid and discover the story of Nelson Mandela. Get immersed in local culture with traditional dance and the delicious flavours of biltong, bobotie and South African braais (barbeques), then head out on safari to see lions on the hunt and herds of zebra galloping across the plains.
